As I was recently looking through old books at a local
thrift shop a young woman who was also there looking through the books turned
to me and said, " You know paperback books are a dying breed, E-books are going
to take over ". I had to agree with her. As much as I love the look, feel,
and even smell of new and old paperbacks I must admit that E-books are "green"
( no trees…no paper),usually cost less…in many cases a lot less. Also you don't
have to go to the bookstore to get them or order online and wait 2-3 weeks for
them to be delivered to you…they are immediate. And one thing you can do with
E-books that you could never do with paperbacks…you can have a HUGE library of
1000's and 1000's of books that you can carry around and read anytime on a laptop...
