About Dr. Ryles/Biography
Donald Ryles is many things to many people. He is an author, blogger, and student/explorer of the strange and unusual. He is perhaps best known for his popular blog and his book…Hidden Secrets of "Many But One"…the true and often terrifying story of his lifetime of Paranormal contacts. As well as an author he is also a researcher and firm believer in the ability and power of Mind Programming, Hypnosis and Alternative Health Methods to greatly improve, change…and completely transform… a persons life. In one way or another he has been involved in these areas for more than 25 years and people World wide seek and trust his referrals . He has now joined with some of the Worlds top researchers, experts, and Drs. to bring you some of the best proven and effective programs and products available.
For over 25 years Donald Ryles has been involved in some way with the Paranormal and Mind Sciences. His path into the unusual began at a very early age with a "visit from the unknown" (
Read the first chapter of his book here to see more).
In the pursuit of his path he has obtained an alternative PhD in Transpersonal Counseling
( University of Sedona) , a Masters in Metaphysical Science( University of Metaphysics), a diploma as a Mind Science Healer. He is also a Certified Hypnotist ( Hypnosis Motivation Institute)  and a Certified Paranormal Investigator
( Flamel College).
Thus far Donald has focused his energy on research, writing and growing his business. He has not worked extensively publically one on one as a healer or counselor, but throughout his life he has always seemed to be the person that his family and friends turned to for comfort and advice. Even in his teen years his friends, older family members, and in some cases even complete strangers turned to him for guidance. He seemed to be felt as an "Old Soul". In fact at his birth his mother proclaimed that he would one day be "a great preacher to the people"... an unusual proclamation since neither she nor her husband were overly religious. It now seems that he has in a way through his business and writing become that guiding voice to the people. Most who know him or have met him feel him as a comforting presence.
Donald was born under the sign of Gemini and true to his birth he has 2 distinct sides to his personality. On one hand Dr. Ryles is very open and humorous. Some have even felt him to be the life of the party. He says he has always felt that laughter is one of our best medicines.
On the other hand he is very serious about his work and business. He is also quite mysterious and secretive about many things.

A few Points about Me and My beliefs I get asked about often  ...

One of my main goals and joys in my life is making people happy and bringing them the best in Mind, Body, and Spirit knowledge. I believe when we help others we help ourselves too. What goes around comes around so to speak.

I  love  animals and I do have pets and have throughout my life most always had an animal companion of some type...dogs, cats, fish, bird. I have 2 cats now. A big male cat that is almost solid black and a smaller female cat that is mixed grey....and I try to feed all of their stray "friends" that they bring home sometimes, plus a family of feral cats . I had a Border Collie named Little who was with me for over 16 years who I lost several years ago. I still miss her dearly.

I am a definite believer in Alternative Health Therapies and Medicine …BUT NOT as a substitute for Traditional Medicine and methods. I believe Alternative and Traditional medicine should be used together to compliment each other. A recent study showed that more than 50% of people being treated traditionally for cancer also were using some form of alterative method. So in a nutshell…should you use meditation, positive reinforcing affirmations, self-hypnosis, and vitamin/herb therapies for none life threatening ailments and while you take chemotherapy and/or radiation for cancer…definitely YES…should you use meditation and vitamin/herb therapies alone to treat cancer or other serious ailment…in my opinion…NO…unless Traditional medicine has no treatment available or you have exhausted the options .

I don't advocate…but also don't judge people for their bad habits. We all have faults :)

I don't hold any particular religion above another. I believe that there is good…and bad...in all beliefs and systems. I feel the choice of a religion, or no religion, is up to the individual.

I am asked often if I am a Conspiracy Theorist or Doomsday Prophet. The answer to that is NO. I do believe that there is much happening at the upper levels in the World behind our backs and without our knowledge.  I also believe that statement is true for all areas of our lives in one way or another be it family, friends, or business. There is always something happening that you aren't necessarily "in
on". I would say I am just more of a realist in that respect.

In a nutshell, I am a firm believer in the incredible power to change ourselves through mental re-programming. I believe most every behavior problem, phobia, habit , or perceived flaw or shortcoming  in ourselves can be greatly improved or eliminated entirely using hypnosis, self-hypnosis, positive affirmations, visualizations ,  or subliminal programming.
My personal interest and exploration into these methods began a little over 25 years ago when I received a catalog of subliminal cassette tapes through the mail. In the catalog was mention of a fascinating study done at the University of Chicago. A group of students who all had about the same ability at making basketball free throws was divided into 3 groups.  One group was to physically practice free throws for an hour everyday for 30 days, one group was to mentally practice successfully making free throws an hour everyday, and a third group was to do neither. At the end of the month the students were re-tested. The group that had done nothing showed no improvement in their free throw success rate . The group that physically practiced showed a 24% increase in their success rate, and the group that practiced mentally showed a 23% increase.  The group that never even stepped foot on the court showed an improvement practically equal to the group that had physically practiced all month!!! The reason for this is that the subconscious mind does not separate what actually happens and what we program it to believe happened. That convinced me that mind potential was most definitely something I wanted to use and study.
My first experiment was tapes that I personally made of positive affirmations geared toward increasing my boosting
my self-confidence and my ability to handle stressful situations (Something that many, if not most, people reading this would like to increase). I had been using my home-made tapes for a short time and felt I was making excellent success when I was to be put to a very unfortunate and extreme test of new programming. My father was diagnosed with advanced colon cancer. A very stressful situation for the entire family and during the last 2 months of his life I was for the most part his primary caretaker. I most definitely believe that the programming had fortified me greatly. I had never been very strong in situations such as I was in and I found myself much stronger than many around me. One of my relatives even commented one day that they didn't know how I was able to hold up so well under the circumstances and said they knew that they would not be able to handle it near as well as I was.
I have since used these methods several times to help fortify myself. Such as the stress of being in a tornado and stopping smoking .
