I Have Been Where You Are Now


    15 years ago I stopped an almost 18 year, 2-3 pack a day, cigarette addiction "Cold Turkey". I just stopped… and I can tell you from painful personal experience… it was HARD. For many weeks ( in fact more like months) I craved cigarettes. There were many times I would have gladly traded food and drink for my precious "smokes".
     Before I had begun to smoke cigarettes I had first smoked cigars and about 3 months after quitting my 2-3 pack a day addiction I allowed myself to go back to smoking 2-3 small cigars a day…some days one large cigar. I totally realized that cigars were bad for me as well but I rationalized that smoking 2-3 small cigars outside and never inhaling was better than 40-60 cigarettes that I deeply inhaled in a closed room.
     I continued on the cigar course for about 7 more years until I decided to stop them as well as I saw the price rising higher and higher, and smoking bans enforced more and more, and I, as all smokers do, had blocked out the health issues…I now realistically faced them as well.
     This time when I quit I prepared myself by using mental programming, self-hypnosis, meditation and positive affirmations that I designed myself. It was a LOT EASIER to quit using the methods. I only craved my cigars for a few days…instead of a few months, and the cravings were much weaker. I actually enjoyed cigars much more than I had cigarettes…and it was MUCH easier to stop using the methods.
    If my personal system worked that well, I can only imagine how easy, painless, and fast it would be to quit tobacco using the Smoking cessation expert designed systems on this page .
